Just had egg n chips for my tea, years since I’ve had that,was delicious ,what meal do you not have much of anymore ?
Just bought a Ninja air fryer , I gave my Tower one to my s.i.l last year as the chips were never cooked through, this ones great, chips with skins left on
It’s the simple pleasures :0)

Someone recently asked what my favourite meal was when I was a child, and I thought about it and decided it was egg and chips!

It's egg n' chips... Bobbi posh folk don't know what it is. losing battle on this one, like bangers n' mash. for me but Salmon paste taste better than actual salmon.. whats the big deal.

Do you remember in Shirly valentine she kept referring to ‘chips and egg’? I don’t know anyone who calls it that, it’s always egg and chips.

I agree about salmon. The tinned variety is much nicer than the fresh, although I am partial to the smoked kind.

I’ve just had fish and chips from the local shop. My daughter, who lives quite near, rang and asked if we wanted some. As I hadn’t started cooking anything, the answer was yes. I can’t remember the last time we had them and I really enjoyed them.
