Ever Had A Friend Of The Opposite Sex

But at some point you wanted to bed them?


Ive had a few.
One, I actually did 'bed' them and it turned into a long term relationship.
Another, it ruined a good friendship and we parted ways.
Another, Id like to and very probably could (after a decade of her hinting) but who knows what would happen?
I like female company and friends, but not neccessarily sexual company or friends with benefits type thing.

Is it possible to be friends with the opposite sex and be nothing more than friends without thoughts of sex coming into it?

I posted elsewhere that humans ask themselves only 3 things (Subconciously), when meeting a person for the first time
1) Is this person my enemy?
2) Is this person my friend?
3) Could I have sex with this person?

Have you ever had a friend that you wanted to bonk, to be blunt?

My best mate is male and I can honestly say I've never had any sexual feelings towards him. I feel he's more like my big brother. So in my world men and women can be just good mates.

I have, and have had, male friends and I can honestly say that the prospect of sex never entered my head - or theirs so far as I know. Friendship is far too important.

Yes I had a female friend but she used me until someone else came along.

Most of my friends are male. My OH has/d female friends as well. One of them married one of his best mates, one has emigrated to Oz, they other (my cousin) went travelling for two years around Asia. He's only got me now :-) (his mum, sister and our daughter don't count)

I’ve had very good male friends who I didn’t remotely think about sleeping with. I thought they might have fancied me (when I was much younger and a bit prettier) but one turned out to be gay. So my judgement was wrong.

I think it's different for males and females. The male is more likely want to bed a female friend especially if she is attractive, I think it's inevitable because that's how males are wired. However females can be friends with males easier without sex getting in the way.
