Good Morning Early Bir

morning everyone, i hope today finds you well and that whatever your day brings you it's all good. I will be calling the GP today as my sciatica if that is what it is, isn't loosening up and perhaps need something else to ease the pain i am in. I have tried the codeine but that has unwanted side effects. Anyway let us not dwell on that, it will get sorted. Does anyone have anything planned for today? Isn't this week going quickly, we will soon be at the end of August, and a Bank Holiday next week, where does the time go...

I also have Thurs / Fri off work next week and we're going to see Riverdance and have a nice restaurant booked.
Then the following week ... FINALLY ... the kitchen is being fitted (fingers crossed).

i had to get the council plumber out to unblock the loo, yuck i thought, it took them 8 hours to get to me, not good standard of service, i was told and it turned out to be true, they have only one plumber on for emergency call outs, this is for the whole of the borough, so he turned up at 9 pm, then told me he had 11 other call outs to do - what a shambles.
He was tired and grumpy after Nursery yesterday. He still likes a 2-hour nap in the daytime but doesn't get this at Nursery so he's always grumpy when he gets home.
He's going to Nanny and granddad's today so he can have a little nap.
He's always slept like a trooper, right from birth.
I hope the Dr can optimise your pain control. Have you tried a hot water bottle? I found mine invaluable when I had the horrendous pleuritic pain from pneumonia. It helped more than the painkillers to be honest.
