You could wear one of these, no one would notice you. https://www.wigglestatic.com/product-media/102165741/dhb-Balaclava-Balaclavas-Black-AW19-AL0247ONESIZE.jpg
I have a few grey roots and normally have a champagne blonde colour, just before covid I asked my hairdresser to change to a gunmetal colour which was fashionable then , well it didnt suit me and made me look much older , then came lockdown and I was stuck with it ! be careful what u wish for, try something that will wash out if you dont like it !
well a straightforward answer from me Bobbs and I know you won't want to know.
but I do know lots of ladies who went naturally grey and beside them in photographs and on facebook, their friends who kept sorta blonde and darkish, the blonde ladies look years younger. I will never go grey but it is your hair Bobbs.
I put like Ash Blonde or any kind of darkish blonde maybe from Garnier - I do it myself and have always done so. Every other colour I try - I do get compliments on the colour and am asked - oh what shade is that and that.
Be aware that grey hair is much more porous than normal hair and anything you put on will take really quickly and might be more difficult to get out.
Jenny -I have grey(ish) long hair below my shoulders. I get lots of complements and it's never been shinier. No chemicals are needed to colour it and I use natural shampoo. Its liberating after over 40 years of having blond highlights put in every 8 weeks. I've not been to the hairdressers for nearly 2 years.
My hair is a combination of...mostly...silver, and my original auburn/red.
I've had people call it blonde. I like it as it is and will kept it as it's natural to my colouring.
Skin gets lighter I think as you get older -that's why old people who dye their hair very dark look a bit odd. I was honey blonde as a baby then went 'mousy' by the time I was 10. However, I too miraculously became blonde again aged 16 lol!
The problem I have Bobbs is that my eyebrows have stayed black, so perhaps going silver might look wrong on me.
Among my 50 shades of grey , there are still some strands of black.
It's strange how some people stay grey and some go white or silver.
