morning, another working week starts for some, i hope that it goes quickly for you, and that you don't work too hard, and are keeping well and in good spirits. I have no plans for the day, and seeing as how my knees are creaking and painful may just rest up. are you doing anything exciting with your day?
Morning, Emmie. Another normal working week ahead for me. I'll drop the moody one off at his Nan's at 07:30 and then go on to work.
Kitchen fitter is coming around 8:00 so hopefully there will be a bit of progress here today. The delay with the sink is causing a fair bit of bother because we can't fit the hob or get the dishwasher going until that part of the worktop is fitted (the sink is moulded from the same quartz as the worktop).
It sounds as though you could do with resting up, Emmie. I'd love to spend a day just resting, reading, maybe watching a bit of TV. Bliss!
sounds like a busy day for you, don't over do it, i know that i shall probably not rest up, as there are chores to do, and if the weather is remotely kind, then i might have a walk out. It rained for a little bit yesterday and i wonder if that's how it will be today.
not sure what happened there, still never mind, i must start reading again, as i haven't picked up a book in months, i will start reading Jamaica Inn soon, i know it's not like Rebecca, but look forward to a good story.
Morning all. Still dark outside but I think forecast today is good maybe time for that last BBQ. I know what you mean about knees emmie, glad I have a riser recliner for such times.
its what i could do with a riser recliner, but i bought just an ordinary sofa and chair a couple of years ago and often have trouble getting off the sofa without pain, either like now in lower back and knees.
Got ours in April but had a bit of trouble with them so after a few engineer visits they have now decided to give us 2 new ones. Just waiting for them to make them.
Thanks emmie. She is actually seeing a doctor today, 5 weeks after coming home when the hospital said she was to see one within the first 2 weeks. Still I suppose it's progress.
