Hi i noticed when i take antipsychotics i feel bored not happy and going troughout the day feels difficult and tiering ( i don't seem to enjoy my days) , but when iam not on antipsychotics i feel like happy the days go by fast and pleasureable i get happy by the littlest things.

Can someone explain why that is does it have something to do with my neurotransmitters in the brain like dopamine and serotonin because they get suprresed when i take antipsychotics ?

You should discuss your medication with your psychiatrist. It may take some time for you to find a medication that prevents you from being psychotic but allows you to live a decent life.

It is a few years since I took antipsychotics but I remember that they made me very tired and this made working full-time very difficult. It is all about getting the balance right.

I wish I could help you but I struggle to help myself at times.
