To be fair to Silvertaff, he'd already stated that he'd looked at several sources but found them to be contradictory. So simply referring to one such source can't confirm either date (unless you believe that Wikipedia never contains an errors, of course!).

Back in the good/bad old days of AB, when Kno*** and Leg*** were still around, my first 17 posts on CB were totally ignored. My 18th post elicited a reply from one of the aforementioned 'gentlemen', who told me in a hail of four-letter words to F off out of CB, as it wasn't for me and I should stick to posting in AB's 'serious' sections.

At least I no longer felt invisible ;-)
