Poirot's Moustache Protector
15 Answers
Does anyone know what the proper name is for the thing that Poirot wears over his moustache at night to keep it in place? I've been all over the web with every possible description I can think of, but to no avail! If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be really grateful. My son is growing his moustache with curly ends for a play and I want to buy him one as a joke, Xmas pressie.

numan: I first saw mention of it as 'Stern Moustache Snood', on Pinterest, by Googling 'moustache holder for sleeping', having tried words like 'cover', 'guard' and 'net'. A search for 'stern moustache snood' then came up with the Amazon hit.

Thanks everyone. The exact one I was looking for was the one Etch found on Amazon. What on Earth did you put in the search bar, Etch? I thought I'd tried everything! lol
But at 25 quid just for a laugh, I think I'll make him one myself instead!
Gromit - it was what Albert Finney wore in the film, 'Murder On The Nile', not on the tv programme so sorry, I should have been more clear. Cheers all and have a great day : )
