How Can I Reduce Facial Redness Caused By Accutane?

I started taking roaccutane five days ago and it has started to work in combating acne but it has made my face red (looks like I’ve been sunburnt just on my face). Is there anything I can do to make the redness reduce? I’ve started moisturising to reduce dry skin however the moisturiser just makes the skin glow which makes the redness worse. Thanks

Genuineclass- ah thanks that looks great! So with me now it looks like I’ve got sunburn and my skin feels tight (not sore like sunburn) but it’s bright red like a tomato and it’s caused by the roaccutane tablets. Would you say that the Amazon product would help get rid of that redness?

to ease the situation use a moisturising cream......any will do.

The redness will go when you stop taking the tablets.

Sqad- yeah I know part of the side effects is redness but I’m talking about reducing the severity of the redness so it’s not super noticeable. I’m using moisturiser which is stopping my skin from getting too dry but it’s actually making the redness look worse as it’s making my skin shiny and thus making the redness brighter

Mamyalynne- yes I know that the redness won’t completely go until the treatment stops but I’m just looking for something that will make it look less severe, because as you can imagine it’s quite embarrassing walking round with a white neck and a cherry red face
