Argan Nut Oil

Has anybody used it? - 'rich in vitamin E and extracted from a Moroccan nut', it can apparently can used, & is beneficial for, the skin, and can be used in salads. I'd never heard of it, but have just ordered some.

Chris: The story is, that on Leaving a service station in France (pre-covid) I was given a tube of shower gel containing argan nut extract, which being handed out as free sample by two gorgeous young women, I asked them if they would care to demonstrate it with me, but they declined. :0(
I have only just recently used it, & a mysterious itchy bit on my bum, which bore no visible signs of anything, & on which I had tried various ointments to no avail; has gone!
I just looked up the shower gel;

itches do go away - if I still had every itch I'd ever had, my skin would be torn to shreds by now. But I've never used Moroccan nuts on any of them. So you may just have happened on a coincidence.

Khandro my daughter used it on her mastectomy scarring and it really helped

A lot of products advertised as ARGAN only contain miniscule amounts of the pure oil (which is quite expensive) - check label or ask.

Yes I use it to tame my frizzy hair.

If I remember correctly (not always the case!) it takes 40 kg of nuts to make 1 litre of oil.

Khandro, why that relief should be a coincidence I do not know.
If it worked for you then that is good enough. If only all life's irritations could be removed so easily ;)

That maybe the case, but perhaps it doesn't require much to work wonders.
However this is the oil I've just ordered, it is 100% argan oil, not cheap, but not too expensive either:

P.S. I have just read the reviews of this item & have cancelled it. I will search for a better argan product.
