So basically covid was no more dangerous than the flu? But they made people take a vax and also had to abide by passport laws showing personal information to ener places and not to mention vaccine mandates.
I hope you all didn't take the unnecessary vaccine which has no long yer data?

But my main question is this. Who is still going to have the booster?

danny, I agree but I have a problem with scaremongering of any description. To read some - and much of it on here - it would be easy to imagine that the slightest exposure to the virus automatically results in, at the very least, serious illness. That isn't so - and it's never been so - and frankly I think the people who have - and still are - perpetrating that impression are responsible for inflicting damage on the mental well-being of millions.

I'm always surprised on these threads at people,
a)getting angry. (we're all on the same side, imo)
b)getting so defensive on behalf of politicians, some scientists and the mainstream media. The way some people dismiss any and all info that goes against the narrative. Like they invented the narrative, lol.
Like I say, most of us know very little of what is happening and has happened. We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves. (until some of the truth leaks out anyway, ;-))

No I did not say all adults in Portugal must get vaccinated or fined. I said that tourists who do not comply with mask use are fine and not showing proof of vaccination to eat in a restaurant are not allowed in

Ellipsis where can one find the definition of unvaccinated and vaccinated? You see a while ago in some nursing homes some residents took the vaccine then soon after caught covid and died. Now as the vaccine proba ly didn't work then were they vaccinated or unvaccinated?


You see I have 2 very good friends. One is 23 and keeps fit. One is 40 and is not fat but doesn't really work out. The 23 year old is fully vaccinated.
Anyway they both got covid. The 23 year old had fever for 2 weeks and off work. The 40 year old had fever for 1 night and off work for 3 days.

The 23 year old had the 2nd vaccine 3 weeks earlier so was he vaccinated or unvaccinated?

A couple of friends were telling me this a couple of weeks ago. One is a medical data analyst and she has got the details from ONS and properly looked through them. Trying to check for myself (as I do) we googled ONS stats online, but even with the same parameters, weren't getting the same shaped graphs and statistics. Very odd.
I was, and am, not entirely sure. I don't believe there is any reason or purpose for "conspiracy". But, what is im the link, is what we all already know- it just seemed to be impossible to find those specific stats online.
But Google is biased itself.

On the Government website, it shows,

"Deaths within 28 days of positive test" in a bold font

Clicking on the, "All deaths data" link takes you to a page with two options.

The first is headed,
"Deaths within 28 days of positive test".

The second is headed, "Deaths with COVID-19 on the death certificate"

Both are in bold font.

You are the one inferring the figure is "caused by Covid only" since, if that were the case, would the heading not be, "caused only by COVID"?

Most of the NHS staff who died of covid did not qualify for a flu vaccine. That's why I gave a 20 year period, ukanonymous can have a 30 year period if he/she likes, you still can't ( in my view) reach such a death number within the NHS for treating flu.

The US, EU, UN all use the same trick. It's sometimes referred to as 'risk adjusted'.
They used to give unadulterated data and trust people to take contributing factors into account.
