Had a few to many... But events on first dates have included falling in a river, repairing a sofa, and being tied to a radiator by a very dodgy woman in leather trousers.

One blind date was very similar to emmie's. A giant of a boy came to my parents house to pick me up, sorry but he reminded me of Lurch from the Adams Family and there was just no way I was going to go out with him, so I pretended it was my sister (who I don't have) that he wanted and she'd actually gone out ! Not sure he believed me, but it got rid of him. Didn't do any more blind dates after that ...
