Watching an old episode of 'Prime Suspect', there was a scene where Jane Tennyson and her boyfriend were sharing a bath together.
Now I love the present Mrs Hughes as much as anyone can love anyone, but nothing on this earth would induce me to share a bath with her, I can't think of anything more revolting!
I won't sit in a Jacuzzi either, I find the idea of sharing bath water with anyone repellent, and that goes double for complete strangers.
So AB'ers, am I in the majority here?
Do any of you routinely share your bath with a loved one?
If you have a bath in Japan you have to shower afterwards. It's considered unhygenic to just get out of the bath and dry yourself off. Let alone if you bath with anyone else.
We often shared a bath together. Sometimes with two kids as well. We do so no longer as size is more of an issue. However I have second bath, using the wife’s bath water. Waste not etc…
Actually. In really don't like being in water. I've never wanted to relax in a bath and only like showers. I don't like swimming pools at all or the sea. I don't go in the sea even on holiday in hot countries. But love being in boats and ships!
/However I have second bath, using the wife’s bath water. Waste not etc…/. Never in my life have I been in a bath after someone else. Not even as a child!
Goodgoalie at 23.24 - If, as I have advised, I would not share a bath with someone I have been with for forty-three years, I am not likely to do so with an actress I find attractive on the telly!
With Helen Mirren, no problem, I don't find her even slightly attractive and am mystified why anyone does.
As for the other two, lovely as they are, I would not for one moment like to share anything smaller than an ocean with either of them.
