Please Help. What Do I Do In This Situation?

About a year ago my aunt and cousin got a couple dogs. My aunt posted a photo of them on Facebook. They both had pronged collars on. A couple months ago my aunt posted a photo of the dogs again and they STILL had the pronged collars on. I believe this is cruel and they should be called out. Now I'm friends with my aunt on Facebook. I sent my cousin a friend request months ago but it's still pending. Im not particularly close with either of them. Last time I talked to my cousin was 2 years ago before the pandemic although she messaged me happy birthday a year ago on Facebook before I made a new account and we were no longer friends. The last time I talked to my aunt was about a year ago when she texted me wishing me a happy Christmas because I couldn't make it to her house for Christmas due to the pandemic. I could message my aunt and I dont think it would be that weird because I have her phone number and we are friends on Facebook. But im not even friends with my cousin on Facebook and I dont have her number. Should I just message her on Facebook even though we aren't friends? Also my uncle who im not close to at all lives with them. Should I message him too even though we aren't on Facebook? What do I do?

Is the collar illegal where you stay?

If so report it to the authorities anonymously.
If not forget about it and get on with your own life.

Why don't you just communicate normally with your family eg. lift the phone, visit or write to them.

Talk to a parent about it if you can and see what they think they will likely know the aunt better and for longer
