On holiday in Liverpool. I have symptoms of covid. Never had it before. I've tried to get to see someone to get tested but I'm just being sent from pillow to post. I come home Friday. Shall I just lay low ?

You must misunderstand me - Covid was a nasty disease two years ago, especially for the elderly and the vulnerable. For the vast majority of people it now no more dangerous than any of the multitude of other respiratory diseases we might encounter.
The reason I asked what rules one must follow after testing positive anneasquith was referring to is because in England (and I believe in Scotland though I don't follow their rules quite so closely) there are none.
