Microblading Eyebrows

Has anyone ever tried the above and does it work?? My eyebrows have always been sparse and are now, in my 70's, almost non-existent. Its expensive and reviews indicate that it hurts!
Also any alternative suggestions??

They look really good, Bobbi.
I use L'oreal Brow. You fill in eye brow, then use a thin angled brush to line the little brush to tidy them. I have the dark brown colour, which stays on for 24 hours. Very pleased with it.

While they do look good...they don't look natural age-wise. I hope that doesn't sound awful. I have naturally very dark eyebrows compared to my former natural hair colour. I'd find those too harsh.

They can do. The first time I used it, I was a bit heavy handed! :-)
I've learned to be more sparingly with colour. I think they look ok. I'm sure my daughter would tell me if they didn't. :-)

Not at all , that’s your opinion, I was extremely dark till I was around 50 ( excuse the Deidre specs,they were fashionable 35 yrs ago when this was taken) haha

Yet my brows are quite fair for my hair being so dark, anyway I’m pleased with them so that’s all that matters I suppose

Maybe I'll have a look in Boots for the l'oreal.

Thanks to all (well, most of you) - and link. Obviously have tried pencilling them in, in fact have always done this to enhance them.
On balance probably wont go ahead but thanks for advice.

If you end up trying a make-up version instead there are loads on the market and we all have our favourites. Personally I have found the LOreal unbelievabrow perfect if you want hefty slugs and the colours are really dark or intense. Not my thing at all. I like Maybelline Tattoo Brow pomade. It's a little pot with a brush to apply. Medium brown is very natural for brunettes.

Think microblading is similar to having the plucked which i obviously not what you want, you would need tatooing.

Bobbie, they dont last forever though do they? Thought they faded over time and you had to go back for top ups??

Darcy, microblading gives the illusion of fuller eyebrows by cutting the skin with a teeny blade and adding pigment. Similar to a tattoo except a blade is used instead of a needle and the pigment does not go so deep in to the skin. It lasts around 18 months were a tattoo is permanent.
Nothing like plucking hairs out, it is painting them in.

Ha ha Bobbie! I thought they only lasted about a year, must have got that wrong ( as i did microblading)
