Like the others say, it does sound like allergy, probably to the house dust mite. I would also council you to change your bedding, possibly the matress if it is very old (or buy an anti allergy matress protector) you can also buy these for pillows and duvets too. Vacuum regularly and change the curtains to blinds. Keep soft furnishings down to a minimum. I had to do this with my son who has a sever dust mite allergy and suffers badly with asthma as a result....
