We had the Jubilee celebrations last week. The whole country spent millions on it. This week, here in Manchester, we've been overwhelmed with concerts; Ed Sheeran; The Killers; Alicia Keyes; Parklife; Soccer Aid. Clearly, ITV don't think there is any poverty and clearly neither does anyone else. The figure at the end of the game was £15 million. Like I've said before, yer all loaded! Poverty my armpit!

I know for a fac that some people using food banks are not in need, but the food is there , it's free so they take advantage of it.

Yes, there is a lot of money around but it is true that some people with no support are struggling.

We got the opportunity to remove a president with a election. no way to remove that bunch of leeches. if you believe the nonsense that tourism in the u.k would stop because there's no royal family then join the flat earth society!

I doubt that the royal family brought in much, if anything. You need to go back in time and rerun everything with them taken out of the equation to check, and I'd wager you'd find much the same level of tourism as the heritage would still be here.

I have friends who attended some of the events at the weekend.
They had been booked and paid for prior to the pandemic, pre-crisis if you will.

Bobbi you missing the point. there was a election and trump had to go . how do we empty windsor castle/ buck house/ balmoral/ sandringham and all the other royal residences our hard earned money keeps full of staff and pays to maintain. they are old crumbling buildings. it ain't cheap!!
