Does Anyone Ever Just Spend Days Alone On Purpose?
32 Answers
I really just enjoy the times when I can just spend days alone with no visitors, work, friends/family etc to interrupt my solitude.
Anytime that Ive been in a relationship for example, Ive craved time alone.
Now that im single, I can.
And enjoy it.
People (even friends and family) exhaust me.
OK in small amounts but ultimately am comfortable in my own skin doing my own thing.
Used to think that there was something wrong with
people that wanted little to do with others
but as time goes on people and interactions holds little appeal.
Recently attended a family funeral and all the 'fake sympathy' sickened me.
As does the fake family love that we believe in. And the fake friendship love.
(Not to mention the fake religious 'love' from the AB religious section).

In Christianity, an anchorite (female: anchoress) is someone who, for religious reasons, withdraws from secular society so as to be able to lead an intensely prayer-oriented, ascetic, or Eucharist-focused life.
