Should I be worried? I am diabetic type 2. Just forgot I had taken a dose already and took another.

I have no real understanding of type 2 but have you checked your blood sugar level and should you call NHS 111?

I wouldn't think it will hurt as it is only the once. Wife takes 4 500mg of them each day. In some people they can make them want the toilet more when they have a bigger dose.

if in the unlikely event that you feel tired, headachey or nervous test your blood sugar and if it is below 5.5 then have a fruit drink or marmalade sandwich.
You shouldn't need to take theses measures.

I have done this more than once. No problems at all. Worry ye not.
Maybe buy a daily listed pill box for you peace of mind.

Do you not have a daily pill box ? If you put your pills in one for the week ahead this can't happen.

daily pill malarky doesn't work for me as I forget to go to the daily pill box so just have to keep it in my head.

I'm type 2 phleb, just eat something and take your BSL's - you'll be ok, i did it once and there was no problem, I just kept an eye on it until my next dose, which I skipped, not suggesting you do that but it worked for me.

Place your pill box on top of your tea caddy as I do, or somewhere similar to where go to unfailingly each morning & you can't overlook you pills.
