I know!!
But had to finish work early today.
(Previously never even taken all holiday entitelement, let alone sick days)
Heart pounding, dizziness, fatigue and breathing problems.
Managed to get an app with a nurse at GPs in the afternoon.
Blood pressure still high after 6 months on blood pressure meds,
and pulse higher than usual
Got home and had a telephone call from nurse, Doctor wants to see me in morning.
BUT..
I'm still bleeding like a pig from my behind,
(Despite having the all clear from a sigmoidoscapy)
Having to use the lav several times a day and constant stomach upsets etc.
Cant see a connection myself between arris problems and not been able to do my job because im constantly on the verge of passing out (presumeby due to blood pressure)
But interested to hear differntly.
(Have felt significanty worse since been prescribed Ramapril. Was initially prescribed Amlodopine which according to the nurse today should not have been a first choice.
Was on fit or a week and I was sick as a dog. )

Even after I fainted, he said to stop them for a few days and then restart. When I eventually saw a Consultant Physician, the Ramipril was discontinued and I was prescribed Candesartan - no problems since. Everyone is different.
Nailit, I'm so sorry you are going through this, personally, if you were a relative of mine, the first thing I would do, would be to change your GP. This is not normal, and it's no wonder you are worried. Is your surgery just one family GP, or is it a practice where you could you book in to see someone else?
Also don't assume the doctors are always right in their prescribing, Many people I know including myself have been prescribed medication that has not only caused worrying side effects but was actually wrong for the ailment it was prescribed for and just made things worse. If you have had problems since beginning a medication then chances are its the medication.
