To have to get up each morning to have the eyes of the world on you whilst grieving , must be exceptionally difficult for him and William but on a lighter note, Gordon Brown looks like he’s had a night on the tiles :0/

After the death of a loved one you gradually learn to accept what happened but time does not heal anything.

Is grief is palpable. But surely King Charles must realise, the passing of his mother at the grand old age of 96 is a good innings! Sadness at a time like this is inevitable. However the life and death of our Queen is to be celebrated. Unlike the tragedy which befell Princess Diana and the subsequent mental scarring of Princes William and Harry.
Never said it was a question, Bobs:-)
Charles would have been prepared for this moment for the last few years, no doubt. Still comes as a bit of a shock when the inevitable happens, but i believe he'll cope and make a good fist of being our King. Especially if, as has been muted, he includes William in much of his plans.
