There May Have Been Life On Ancient Mars.

Perseverance finds clue that ancient life on mars may be detected in the next few years. Rock drilling shows that the drilling site has rocks that could contain preserved organic material traces billions of years old. Another tiny step on the road to discovering whether or not we are alone in the universe. If there was life on Mars, then it suggests that (1) life can appear rather easily, or (2) life on Mars could have predated that on Earth and somehow seeded our planet.
Both options would make it more likely that Earth is not the only planet capable of bearing life.

Apparently, this is a Daily Mail report, so it must be reliable.

If traces of past life are actually confirmed in the next ten years or so, then the Mail will doubtless be worried (or delighted) by the prospect of impact on property prices on the moon.
