Don’t Know Where L Am!
14 Answers
Been for a weeks holiday in different hotels. A couple of nights after I came back l woke in the night and didn’t know where I was. This lasted around 10 seconds and I got up and looked through the window, then realised I was at home. It’s happened a couple of times since, but only for a couple of seconds. And I don’t drink! Help please. Hope it’s not the first signs of something …

Been there, done that!
Back in my teaching days, shortly after returning from a conference in Adelaide, I nipped out of my classroom to get something from the stockroom. When I got there, I realised that
(a) I'd no idea what I'd gone there for ;
(b) I'd no idea which class I was in the middle of teaching ;
(c) I'd no idea as to which topic I was teaching them ; and
(d) I'd no idea as to which classroom they were in.
I had to wander down the corridor, looking through each door, to find a class that hadn't got a teacher and then look at their exercise books to work out what it was that I was meant to be teaching them!
That was 36 years ago and I've not totally lost my marbles yet ;-)

Anecdotally (& not what troubles the OP) - a friend's brother had a job which involved travelling about the UK. He would set off for (say) Sunderland & several hours later come round parked up on the seafront at Brighton with no recollection of how he got there!
It was diagnosed as a medical condition. Very strange & worrisome.
