I just peeled some boiled eggs...and one was like this. No sign of pink inside the shells. It looks like it was dabbled with a bright pink marker.

Dohhh!
Blood spots are uncommon but can be found in both store-bought and farm-fresh eggs. They develop when tiny blood vessels in the hen's ovaries or oviduct rupture during the egg-laying process. Eggs with blood spots are safe to eat, but you can scrape the spot off and discard it if you prefer.
I like Ken's answer :0)

This does not look like a blood spot...it's shocking pink.
The blood spots often turn pinkish when boiled, apparently. But I doubt if I would eat it
I wondered about blood spots but they look a bit too pink. There wasn't a logo on the shell that could have sort of leaked in?
A possibility
"According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), you should throw your eggs out immediately if you notice that the egg whites are "pink or pearly" in color. Color change or iridescence, however subtle, can indicate spoilage due to Pseudomonas bacteria. This is the most frequent type of spoilage in eggs and consuming eggs tainted with such bacteria can lead to food poisoning, experts say.

That's what I thought gness...but nothing. Looked at all the shells.
Nope, don't think I'll eat it.
I boiled 4 eggs...3 from 1 pack, and another from the newest one. I wonder if that's the one that's gone girly pink.
Question Author
Oh dear Barry! Definitely won't be eating it.

A few different theories, Pasta. My sister would insist that Bill Gates is putting microchips in eggs to track us. :-)

That's it!
I knew I heard it buzzing as I peeled it ;)
While you might be right about Penny, Johnson will fail to unite the Party because they already have too much experience of him, and Sunak will fail because apparently there's a sizable wing of MPs and members who can't stand him. So maybe the one with the least clout, the least reputation, works as a compromise.

Put another way, who else?
That was, obviously, the wrong thread, lol.
And there was me thinking you were nominating Pasta's spotty pink egg, Jim. x

My Egg, with Larry as chancellor, will do a better job than most.
Honestly, with nominating eggs and lettuces and all that for PM, I'm getting hungry :P
Don't eat Larry the cat!
I would never! He's a bit old, anyway, bound to be chewy.
