They got me a doctors appointment for 3.10pm today. Turned up, doctor took one look at my throat and said ‘Dear god!’. You’ve got severe tonsillitis, and the glands in your throat are severely swollen. I told him I’ve been trying for days to get an appointment and even he apologised and said he was so sorry. He’s given me Amoxicillin and Benzydamine x

Yes it was a doc at my surgery, but a new one I’d not seen before.

Aww Smow...I hope you feel noticeably better by tomorrow. I can feel your pain. I used to get strep throat a lot as a teenager...oh the pain!

Oh poor you. Sounds awful. Glad you got to see a doctor. There's been quite a lot of tonsilitis about, coughs, colds. So depressing. Wishing you a speedy recovery. X

Even he said there is a terrible amount of tonsillitis going about - no idea why. Just taken first of todays Amoxycillin to get it in me asap.
