I remember when I first moved to London. 1985. I worked on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day so I couldn't go to family on Christmas day. My 3 housemates managed to get the whole time off so I was on my own.. I spent Christmas day cleaning the house. I did a really good job of it but it was grim. My Christmas dinner consisted of a tin on Heinz ravioli on toast. Sometimes things aren't as bad as you think.
