Scan tuesday, letter today Appointment with respiratory team on 24th ( same consultant who saw Dave initially) no warning phone call this time. Waiting for call back from gp about my chest infection might find out more if she has been informed.

If the appt was linked to a sinister finding on your scan, it wouldn't be with the Respiratory Physician.
I would say that this is a crossover myself. The scan wouldn't have been listed for MDT and discussed in the space of a day, unless I'm missing something??

The respiratory physicians have you at the QE until they have a histology confirmed diagnosis or significant imaging evidence.. So Dave saw that team through bronchoscopy, biopsy ( failed) and eventually they went on PET scan . MDT used to be Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. I suspect this is a we need to arrange a biopsy appointment. Either that or it just possibly could be TB, although it's unlikely as I didn't have my vaccination until my late 30s. The good thing is the consultant is lovely.
