Ever had one of those dreams where it keeps zooming in?

What does this mean? I get the one when I'm falling a lot, but this one is just freaking me out!!

Dreams are the result of the brain replaying recent events (not necessarily accurately!) They can be influenced by something you have been doing during the day - recently experiments have been done with volunteers playing a ski simulator, then being woken up as soon as they go into REM sleep and asked to describe their dream - several of them dreamt about skiing or had a feeling of movement. It could be connected with something you do a lot during the day. As to whether they "mean" anything - personally I don't think they do. Mine don't, anyway, they're far too surreal - good fun, but thankfully bear no resemblance to real life!
