I can't decide whether I should be fasting dry or wet. Wet fasting is where you do not consume calories and still consume water. In contrast, dry fasting is where you drink nothing, not even water.
The reason I am looking into fasting for two reasons which are to save money and to help lose weight. So I am down for whatever you decide for me. Thanks for much.
You can critique any of the answers here, but please still answer the question. If you don't know what you are talking about, don't answer the question.
Look up interval fasting if you want to restrict your intake but it isn't for financial benefit as you have to ensure you use optimized nutrition when you do eat. What you propose is dangerous, 'dry fasting' isn't even a thing except in the crazy world of social media. Your body needs hydration. Water is fine, but you will need to consider your electrolyte balance.
I have reported this thread as potentially harmful.
I cannot under any circumstances understand how depriving your body of fluid is going to be healthy for you.
Such deprivation may cause weight loss, but it will be only temporary. As soon as you drink again, the weight you have lost will return.
Meanwhile, your internal organs (kidneys in particular), skin, brain and heart will be struggling to function normally in the absence of an workable level of fluid.
Don't do it.
Life is short enough as it is.
