I really ought to have gone to bed ages ago but I got playing on my transceiver and the time just seemed to whizz by. I'm still not particulary tired, so I'm just finishing off the bottle of a rather English white wine that I opened last night (meaning Friday night, not Saturday!). It's probably over a month since I last drank any alcohol, so it's a pleasant change for me this weekend.

The fur babies are much the same as always, thank you. i.e. totally lovable - even if they are a pain in the posterior quite a lot of the time too;-)
If I get chatting to you though, I might have to open the other bottle of this wine that I remembered I'd got last night ;-)
[Annoyingly, Morrisons no longer stock it. I bought some of the last of their clearance stock last year and it's rather tasty! https:/ /tinyur l.com/p 7bs799c ].

>>> rarely consume anything stronger than tea these days
I have to admit to having drunk far more Earl Grey in the past few months than glasses of wine!
The only way to get along with a cat is to accept that they're totally in charge. A few weeks back, all three of min decided that they were going to sleep on my bed at night. It's not even a full-size single bed. (It's a 'small single', at 2'6" wide, rather than the usual 3'). On some nights I managed to find a way to position myself around them but on others I simply gave up and spent the night in an armchair!
(Fortunately for me, they seem to have changed their night-time preferences. Moonbeam now sleeps on the window ledge, on a nice comfy folded towel that I put there especially for him. Tablo sleeps on top of the filing trays on my desk and Chequers sleeps on my office chair. So at least I can get a bit of sleep now!).

As an aside, I've just banned a spammer with a remarkably honest username ;-)
