I’ve recently had a bad case of constipation caused by a prescription pain killer, now I’m having problems fancying food, and only having small amounts of fairly bland stuff.i do take Actimel daily, and wonder if anyone knows anything appetite building and nourishing, as I’ve lost a bit of weigh and need built up a bit.
Thankyou for any suggestions

If cooking puts you off there is nothing wrong with ready meals, tinned soup and sandwiches.
Switch from low fat to high fat and if you normally have a sweet tooth now is the time to indulge. You can buy single portion sponge puddings with custard, just a minute in the microwave. Small tins of rice pudding.
Cook chicken breasts or legs for sandwiches. Fish is a good source of protein, too, tinned frozen or fresh.
Cheese is great to snack on, with crackers, fresh fruit, fruit cake.
Something on one piece of toast might be nice - baked beans, an egg, cheese or jam/honey/chocolate spread.
Tinned fruit is good as it will keep in the fridge after you've opened it. Have some with cream, ice cream or just as it is.
No reason you can't eat breakfast cereal any time day. One weetabix with warm milk and sugar is great at bedtime, can help you sleep.
Try Complan if you really don't want to eat. Make it with full fat milk, split in to two glasses and put one in the fridge for later.

I really wouldn’t waste my money on Actimel and similar but that’s up to you.
Eat lots of fruit to prevent constipation, especially pears and oranges.
Eat whatever you fancy, whenever you fancy it, and drink plenty of water (including tea, coffee, fruit juice, anything which gets fluid down you).
You’ll start to regain your appetite at some point but in the meantime be kind to yourself and eat whatever you really like.
