This is a really silly question, please forgive me, bit its just curiosity, you can all laugh at me if you wish...

Would a Lesbian ever date a guy in her life time ? I often wonder, wouldn't they want to have kids naturally ?

I share a house with two, and both have had quite long-term relationships with men, before they worked out who they really wanted to be with. Society still puts quite a lot of pressure on for people to have heterosexual relationships, so a lot of people don't initially go into lesbian relationships. Neither is particularly maternal, so have not had children, but some of our friends have.

My lesbian friends have all been in relationships with men, and some have been married. But that was before they were completely "out". So, in their lifetime, yes. And yes they would want to have kids, but not sex with a man- maybe a turkey baster, and bring up the kids with their life partner. If you are a man Alfie, would you want to have sex with a man if it meant you could have kids?

What I mean is, the thought of having sex with a man is probably about as repulsive as the thought of you having sex with a man. They would not want to do that, being lesbians! But as far as having kids, they would do what they had to do in order to get pregnant- but that would usually mean ask for some sperm from a mutual male friend, and insert it using a turkey baster. Hey presto- baby without sex. That is what my lesbian friends have done, anyway!
