What is the agenda
7 Answers
Would like some views on this. An ex from a few years ago is back on scene. Never really stopped calling, he would call once a month or so. Has stepped up a bit lately, took me for a drink few weeks ago, rang next day to say how much he enjoyed it, and would I like to do it again, and go for a meal. Went out second time, nice, but he doesn't make a move. I always thought that men just moved on. My worry is he is doing this because he feels bad about what he did, and it's a sympathy thing (ooh noo). Let me know what you think is happening

it depends what he did?
should he be sorry
why sympathy ? Sympathy is no reason to reignite a relationship. But it doesn't seem to be that to me.
Men don't just move on.
I also don't think it is sympathy, He want to get back together.
Are you keen to get back with him
ask yourself why you split in the first place and will that happen again.
Maybe he realises that he was a plonker and realises you were the best thing that happened to him.. he is afraid to make the first move incase he is rejected.
We men are incredulously bad at reading "come one and for heavens sake make a move" signs sometimes especially if we think this is " the one"
It could help him no end if you are brave enough to say
well this is the third time out
are we seeing each other as just friends
or would you like to get back together with me .
Some one need the nuace of a sledgehammer to get them to understand.
Good luck

perhaps he regrets splitting and now, as he's a bit older, perhaps he thinks you may have been the one after all and wants to see if he still has feelings for you.
perhaps he always regretted it and has now decided its time to get off his backside and sort things out.
men don't tend to do sympathy unless you were old friends beforeahand or are forced to be in each others company regularly.
who knows? only him. ask him.
Hi Rabbits. I wouldn't worry about why HE is doing this and has he moved on etc etc. I would be concerned for you as to why YOU are agreeing to meet up with him and why YOU are wondering why he hasn't made a move. Now that sounds dangerous to me rabbits as I think it shows that perhaps you are the one who has not moved on. I only state this as I don't want you to get hurt. If you want to get back with him just ask and then at least you know the score!! If not - just flirt and show him that you are moving on and enjoying life. Good Luck. Vics X
