She says the price has more than doubled recently and she simply refuses to pay it. She has never been one for the hugely expensive lotions and potions and her skin is lovely.
She is looking for alternative lightweight creams that are more sensibly priced (her words). She has no allergies to worry about but really dislikes thick creams that take a lot of rubbing in.

Superdrug usually charge £4.60 for 125ml (equivalent to £3.68 per 100ml) but it's currently in a BOGOF promotion.
Worth a try, perhaps?

As I've aged, I now buy collagen gel (ebay) about £11 for over a month's supply. I used to go for 'non-surgical facelifts' using collagen gel & electric stimulation treatment. Now living in the wilds, I find that the collagen on its own still works pretty well.
I'm using the new Boots (quite expensive for me) night cream and collagen gel during the day.
Yes shins need special treatment. I've been using general body-lotion but am now using 'body butter' (won it in a raffle) and it seems to be very good. Hope this helps.
