Honest answer is kids are more resilient to a tonsillectomy than we grown ups are JJ, has it been suggested you have one?

No nothing to do with me
Well then I’d imagine it would depend on the person having it done JJ and the pain threshold they have , maybe Sqad is the best one to answer this as it was his field of medicine
It's seven times more painful than getting them out at 10!
I was told that they had almost always sloughed away by the time one reached 50!
Any surgery is uncomfortable/painful, but pain relief is available.

I have never removed tonsils in anyone over 45 years old and the is only one condition that would require such treatment and that is extremely rare.

No Jourdain.......providing one keeps away from E.N.T surgeons then one dies with them.
