Improving Eyesight?
9 Answers
Has anyone noticed their distance vision actually improving as they've got older? I've had the same contact lenses for over 10 years (eye exam is booked!) and I feel that one in particular is now too strong. I was watching a cricket match the other day, happened to have my reading glasses with me, put them on and I could see the play and scoreboard more clearly. That shouldn't be, should it?
I remember my dad when in his seventies saying that he thought his eyesight had got better and he didn't need his distance glasses as much.

You're obviously going to the wrong place, Grumpgrandad! I paid £45 for my specs, including frames, varifocal lenses, anti-glare coating and anti-scratch coating. (I could have had a tint as well, if I'd wanted).
