What’s For Dinner/Tea In Your Establishment Today

We still don’t have a properly functioning kitchen so are still camped out in the utility room with the microwave. We’ve had beans on toast, scrambled eggs on toast, reheated homemade chilli and curry (not on the same plate, different days) this week.
Today we’re having prawns in seafood sauce on a bed of little gem lettuce, pea shoots, baby spinach leaves, chopped cucumber and cherry tomatoes, with some fancy bakery bread and I’m really looking forward to it.
What I’m not looking forward to is the big clear up once the kitchen is finished, there’s even plaster and brick dust upstairs!!
Anyhow, that’s me, what about you?

I am going to cook tagliatelle carbonara tonight, just a small portion. I think I have exhausted my range (and palate) for salads this week. I am waging war on wasted food so I want to use up some gammon, cream and mushrooms. Egg mayo sarnies for lunch :)
