If you were pregnant but the baby died inside of you (at any stage) would a pregnancy test show up positive still?

possibly yes, this is what is known as a 'missed abortion' I had one and my body still thought it was pregnant, ie I was still having morning sickness and still felt pregnant, it was only at the ultrasound when they could not find baby that they told me what had happened and arranged for me to have a D & C.

until you actually pass the foetus and for some time after you could show pregnant on a test. If you do think this is the case and you are not bleeding you must see a doctor midwife because your body can start to reject the foetus and make you very ill.

it will because you still have the pregnancy hormone in your body .

it might do. i carried my dead baby inside me for 1 month and it still showed i was pregnant.
