My wife has recently been diagnosed with this condition. Does anyone out there have any treatments that may help - apart from the 'graded exercise' she has been prescribed.

They cited the cases of 3 women of various ages who had been diagnosed with ME. As I recall, the treatments that they were centred around diet and getting your lifestyle in balance.

Graded exercise can be helpful - but it is extremely important not to overdo it and progress too quickly. Other useful websites which include various drug and non-drug treatments are http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/cfs/

A friend of ours has recovered from the condition - he stopped smoking (very important!) and took Vitamin C and zinc.
