I've recently developed one, but I've been wearing the same shoes, so I'm not sure what's caused it?

Could be a wrinkle in your socks or stockings causing a rubbing a blister

Your foot may have swollen slightly causing it to rub

Your shoe may be changing it's structure subtly if it has had a lot of wear.
