I was diagnosed with low sodium and spent a night in hospital. I was given sachets of something to take for a week and, fingers crossed it hasn't happened again although it's left me really shocked and nervous about going out on my own. Hoping that's the end of it but very scary at the time.
only an observer knows how long you are 'out'
yes after contrast in X ray - I think I will 'drop' more gracefully next time as I was light headed
I wasnt turned on my side and swallowed my tongue - this was associated in me with a dream of being buried ( no breath see?) in a coffin and covered in scorpions
jesus I was glad t wake up ( and stick my tongue out)

I am, thanks, Atheist. I'd still quite like to know what happened; but neurologically it seems nothing did. In effect, it was over by the time I started wondering what had happened, which meant I was now fully conscious again.
I'll always wonder if it was some particularly bananas post on AB that set me off.
Thanks for the replies. Hope those who it has happened to recently are ok!
Do any of you feel scared/like a sense of dread upon waking up and fear for months afterwards.. I have passed out 8 times in my life first was in primary school and last was 2 years ago after injuring my knee on a ship.
Most have been explainable but some days I get episodes which last hours where I feel under the weather/like I might pass out and it creates anxiety. I don't want avoid stuff when feeling like this but at the same time am terrified of passing out.
Dunno if this counts, I woke in a wheelchair in a hospital, after being knocked off my bicycle by a lorry, it wasn't headon, his wing mirror clipped me, throwing to the pavement. I have no memory of what happened, I believe a witness mustve told the ambulance driver.
I think I was out for the count for 24 hours. Ended with 21 stitches on the back of my head.
