//“vote SNP for Scotland to become an independent country”.// - so that's their no 1 policy. Nothing else matters. Time for the famous 10 then, perhaps an SNP supporter would like to have a go at some of them, I live in hope:

1) How will you replace the funding you get from England?
2) Are you happy to continue using the pound but have no control of it?
3) How will you service your part of the national debt?
4) How will you stop the inevitable exodus to England once the decision has been made?
5) Will you continue to offer free prescriptions, university etc ?
6) …if so how far are you prepared to raise taxes for those that remain?
7) How will you attract investment to, what will have to be a high taxation area?
8) How will you replace and fund the parts of the UK infrastructure that you now take for granted? Eg military, police, public transport?
9) are you prepared to adopt the EURO as a condition of joining the EUSSR?
10) Are you prepared to construct a border as a condition of joining the EUSSR?

The SNP have never addressed any of the above perhaps our resident "independence" supporters would like to have a go.

are the SNP treating the G/E as a de facto independence referendum?

Question Author

Swinney said that if they get a majority of the seats they'll start pushing for phase 2 of the neverendum.

Seriously though, what else do they have to appeal to their supporters ? Without that fantasy they'd be pushed to win any sests.

Good afternoon again Tora Tora Tora,

As the SNP currently has the largest party in Scotland and has done since 2007, the people of Scotland must be happy with them.

As I am assuming that you are in England or elsewhere I am trying to understand what direct impact their policies have on you?

Can you please elaborate?

Question Author

You sound like TCL, another nitpicking contrarian eejit.

Question Author

It does not have to affect me for me to have concern for a part of the UK.

You're a wee charmer, TORATORATORA.

I've previously given you links to SNP documents that answer some of your so-called, "famous" questions so your claim, "The SNP have never addressed any of the above" is a lie.

Genuine question - if Scotland is such a financial drain on England, why does Westminster want them to stay in the Union?

Question Author

....because its'not all about the money and there would be much larger problems if they left. Hence the 10 points raised. As usual no one has a go at answering any of them.

"As usual no one has a go at answering any of them."

Another lie.

TTT - you say it's not all about money when the vast majority of your questions listed here are about financial matters?

Sorry, nationalist,separatists.No referendum,no independence..Sturgeon said "once in a generation",Salmond said"once in a lifetime".See all you nationalists about the year 2080.😘

Question Author

15:24 Yes because that is what a lot of the problems will be for Scotland but for the rest of us there will be issues like borders, passports etc if they Join the EUSSR. There has been enough agro regarding NI, that would be far worse with a border on the mainland. Different currency, border posts etc. Splitting families up, relatives. People who live in one and work in the other etc etc. Dividing the the country will create huge problems for us all that's my primary concern. No one has attempted to answer even these 10, let alone my next 10.

TCL, have you still not realized that TTT does not engage with you? Ever.

And I can understand why.

I thought that they had lost all credibility. Surely no sensible person would trust them again.

Some on here would say TCL is just another Plastic Paddy. Not me,of course.

15:40, I think DDIL has a lot of similarity, funny that.

TORATORATORA, "15:40, I think DDIL has a lot of similarity, funny that."

Damn! You're too smart for me, Mr Pot...

Question Author

So still no answers then? Right oh!

The clue is in their name.

Of course the no. 1 ambition is an independent Scotland.

Anything appearing on the SNP manifesto after that is just a make-weight.

The fact that they have held the reins of power whilst the people of Scotland have suffered set-back after set-back doesn't seem to have occurred to the current set of politicos.
