Well just asking for assistance etc. I may have found a guy who is interested in putting the outhouse with the toilet, shower, sink in it at the back of my house. We are only corresponding by email and I hadn't heard from him for some hours so I'm after contacting him again to see if he was still interested but the guy is out working and he said he is interested and maybe next week will survey what has to be done.
I found an outhouse photo of it that I liked and some how or other was able to send the photo to him and he seems to be quite enthusiastic. "Oh I know what you want etc".
However as this is my first time - he did say "did I have any ideas for the interiors of it.
I am asking you is there anything I should look for that could cause problems eventually - like hopefully he will turn up and we could chat about this.
Another thing propped up - I was telling my friend this afternoon what I was proposing to do you know outhouse at the back of the house and she was against it - mainly for the price of it etc.
She thinks a good idea would be to put it extending onto the driveway which some of my neighbours have done - it was another good option but some how my heart sways to the outhouse at the back.
I am not telling anybody ie siblings and so I'm afraid of making a big mistake either way.
I do want it done though cos even tho at the moment I can hardly walk with my legs and feet.
I personally think me getting this done is a good look for the future having downstairs toilet etc and remaining in my home
I know you don't know me - what do you think.
This is probably long-winded as usual
thanks for any answers

Would you need planning permission to put a shed with a bathroom and sewage connections out in the garden?
What do your neighbours think about it?
Depending on the configuration of your house why not have a wet room installed downstairs?
Do you have a bedroom downstairs? I am confused why you want a shower if you don't have a bedroom downstairs?
well you know me - I;m a bit of a nervous kitten Guy came out and measured out the back and does know what I want - however my yard is not that big and to install such an extension is maybe going to leave my wee dog with hardly any room to run around.
So just this morning - now I'm thinking should I put the installation at the back of my car driveway - just don't know and am very nervous about it all.
Any of you any ideas or help you could help me with. I;m nervous about it all.
I have emailed him and suggested about the driveway but I must give him his place and say - I mentioned briefly about the driveway yesterday but since I didn't show much interest in the driveway he didn't get the opportunity to measure up. I worry so much about everything.
Any opinions. He did say randomly the drivesway would cost as much as the back yard but no price as the guy had to measure and cost everything. I don't know what to do. I;m also worriied about the back thing darkening my house. But I do want a downstairs toilet.
Good Afternoon,
I am struggling to see what the benefit is of having an outside bathroom.
You say that your legs and feet are no longer 'that good' and you want an outside bathroom but unless you have a downstairs bedroom you are still going to have to climb the stairs several times a day,
To get to your bathroom your are going to have to go out in the wind/rain/snow and risk falling over and hurting yourself and worse.
I would think about looking at your downstairs layout and see how you can wet a wet room fitted or just a toilet and sink.
pasta - a door at the bottom of the stairs could be opened up and led into the driveway
a doctor gave me anaemia tablets for the legs and feet? I have gone to an acupuncturist last Friday and I did get a little help - I'm going again on Friday again then after that I am going to make an appointment to see a private gp.
