Hale & Pace were much maligned (especially by other comedians) but there were certainly some gems among their sketches.

It was Hale and Pace for me back in the day. But Ive never watched much Telly so probably missed out on a lot of comedy.

Saw Freddie Starr live once. His act hadnt changed in years, but he was still funny even though you knew the punchline to to his jokes. Still crawled underneath the seats tho when he started to pick people from the audience to go on stage.
