...might help.  And I've had enough of the acupuncture after three sessions.

I'll continue with drinking the turmeric tea, even though it's slightly gritty.

Two things I wouldn't give up are the ice pack and the

Co-codomal .

Isn't lower back/hip pain  miserable?

Yes it is. But any pain isn't wonderful as far as I am concerned.

^ I'm sure you were glad of that advice, sandy!

Incredibly painful - you have  my utmost sympathies x

Try sleeping with a purpose made cushion between your knees. It can help a lot for some conditions.

Was the acupuncture done while wired up to electricity? A couple of years I was in awful pain and went to see a chap who put the acupuncture needles in then connected them to electricity. I don't know how it worked but it did! No pain either.

It sure is! I've had chronic back pain for years. Was particularly bad last week but has now subsided to more "normal" levels.

I cannot remember what it's like to be pain free.😢

All pain is miserable and it grinds you down. Has your wrist gone green?

Having had sciatica, I can sympathise.  I had acupuncture on the recommendation of a friend who had also had sciatica.  It worked for her but not for me.

It has but I'm sure the green will wash off in time.

I was feeling a bit sorry for myself last night when I posted about the pain.  I know lots of people have worse problems than mine to cope with.

Sandy, were all entitled to a good moan when we're feeling down

If the pain has lasted longer than a month heat is probably better than ice.   Maybe add ginger extract (zinaxin). If it's going to work it will show results in a couple of weeks.

I've never tried an ice pack.

A decent sized lumbar roll behind the lower back when seated helps a lot. It reminds you to sit with good posture for one thing.

Sorry about the delay in answering,

No electrical input, just the needles applied by a practitioner if traditional Chinese medicine.
