Has anyone had any success with these microdermabrasion flannel-looking things? So far it just seems to make my skin red for a day or so after use, but apparently they can get rid of scarring? Anyone managed to rub away a scar entirely with them?

I got one and it doesn't work at all. I binned mine

Well from the other answer it does not sound as if they are much good although I have never tried one. If you have a bad scar I am sure you have heard of that special make up, but just in case you haven't it is called Derma blend and people use it to cover up birthmarks. It is expensive but you only use a tiny tiny amount and it is very effective ... www.dermablend.com

That link does not say UK but you can get it from loads of places, I think even Boots on line might have it ..
Is there any where you can test this make up before buying it? Sounds good - I need to cover some pigmentation.
Veil Cover Cream is also fantastic. I saw it advertised in a women's magazine but it's also on the web; they used to send a set of colour samples to try for around a fiver so you could match your skin colour. You can also buy callendula patches in Boots that are supposed to reduce scarring.I also took arnica tablets immediately after my surgery.
