JJB Fitness centres charge 20-30 pounds, if you can afford it go to a gym and take the advice of proffesionals, they also run all sorts of fitness classes at no extra charge.
I disagree completely - I lost half a stone this time last year - exercising using dvd's.
My personal favourites are Tracy Shaw's Salsacise which is based on salsa dance and very energetic.
Also like the two Angela Griffin Dancemix workouts.
The others I use are by Joanna Hall - who is a personal trainer.
They may have a celebrity in them but always with an 'expert' who takes the lead - the celebrity just follows the experts routine.
The worst I ever tried was by Jade Goody - she 'led' it herself and it was boring and rubbish.
Good luck. I also use a stepper for 30 minutes a day - can use it whilst watching TV so doesn't feel quite so much like hard work!!!
i agree completely with Lynneuk, i have Claire Sweeney perfect fit, Davina power of three (am able to do it aghain after using the claire sweeney one for a month) and the Joanna Hall Drop a dress size.
At the moment i am following the Perfect Fit plan, you do 18 sections in the first week, 24 in the second, 27 in the third and 30 in the 4th, after to maintain you do 24 or more a week, its easy to fit into a busy life as the random workout selecter allows you to input the free time you have and gives you exercises to work your whole body in the time you have. i am already fitter and can do more of the dvd without getting as out of breath as i was and the personal trainer in the vid is fantastic!
