Have any of you, or a loved one, had a brain aneurysm? If so what happened? what treatment was there? How long was the recovery process?
All advise would be most welcome xx

Finally after 6 months (in a private clinic in South London) they withdrew her liquid food as she wasn't on any medicine. She took a week to starve to death. It was horrible, but I have seen other cases in the same hospital where people have recovered and been fine.
My sister had a brain haemorrhage (sorry may have spelt it wrong) when she was 49. They told us she was too poorly to operate on but if she lived for 24 hours they would take her to theatre and see what they could do to stop the bleed. She was lucky, they did just that and she made a full recover within about six months. She now works, sings, dances, shops, and just about everything else. It took her quite a while to get her memory back in order, but she's brill now.
