intermenstrual bleeding

Hi, Hope someone can help. I finished my period 7 days ago but this morning started bleeding again. It seems like another period. My hubby and I have been trying for another baby (we have a 19mth old son) for 9 months and nothing. I have an appointment with my GP on Monday, but just looking for any advise meantime. Periods are normally very regular. This is the first time ever this has happened and I am a wee bit worried. Many thanks

Sometimes you bleed when you ovulate. Mostly it's more like spotting but can be heavier. This happens to me from time to time, and it can seem like a lot of blood sometimes becuase it's unexpected. I was pretty concerned the first time it happened, quite out of the blue, but my doctor said it was just tied in to ovulation, so be prepared for them to say this when you go, even if you don't think that's what it is.

i know it can be a sign of PCOS. Google it and see if you have anyother symptoms.
